A 'strange experience in the Peepholes' was enough to draw a sharp look from Alys, whose brow furrowed with concern. "Strange how?" she pressed. Was there something nefarious afoot, or was she just being paranoid after all that had happened? Surely, if something was stirring in the world, she'd have dreamt about it - or perhaps that ability had eluded her, after the Family's departure. Only time would tell.
As for her own travels, Alys shook her head. "I haven't seen anything out of the ordinary," she said. "Just a normal Deepfrost, so far." And she sincerely hoped it stayed that way. "But I will visit soon." Even if she couldn't quite bring herself to drag Tal back to the region - not after Sascha's death there - she did miss the tundra terribly, sometimes.
She studied Idalia for a moment, a soft smile on her face, affection for her friends and happiness for their joy evident on her face. Then tidbits of color were swirling into existence, and Alys smiled to find a horde of treeflits had joined them. "Ah," she said, laughter dancing in her eyes. "I see that the treeflits are far more exciting than I." Not that she could blame the youth - she would probably prefer colorful creatures to most people, too.
