She hadn't played much with emotions in items, but it didn't seem out of the realm of possibilities. "Hm. I can do that!" Snatching the necklace from Zavien's hand, she bit at her lip, trying to figure out how best to go about it. "Let's see..."
Subconsciously, she reached again for Soh, placing a hand atop the woman's as if to form a bridge between her essence and the necklace. Brows furrowed, Nova reached for the magic. It flooded forth in an array of colorful light. It stretched across her fingers, brushing along Soh's skin and the golden surface of the pendant, gently probing before finding what it was looking for.
In a soft pulse of white light, the connection fell away, taking with it some of her energy as she presented the necklace to Zavien. "There! Now it will turn hot when Soh's scared!" At least, that's what she gathered it did. Despite being the creator of the item, she still couldn't guarantee she knew the intricate details of how or why it worked the way it did, only that she knew.
