Carlo
Nodding sagely with Calan's contribution to the explanation of their twinmanship and leaving it at that, Ren's offer to try and help for them is met with similar (near identical, one might say) surprise and appreciation. The glance he exchanges with his brother is a careful one, speaking of years of working together to catch clams and oysters and not mischief for the sake of ice cream, and when Calan speaks, Carlo turns as if the words have fallen from their own lips.
"Only if you really want to, though," he adds, like he's worried they might be putting too much pressure on their new musically inclined friend. "We really would be grateful. We could go and buy ice cream for all of us once we get the payment for the oysters?" The suggestion chirps out like something he's only just considered rather than the entire point of the operation they've concocted, and he turns to point away from the square and down the street to where the oyster seller still has plenty of customers.
"It's that one there," he says. "Do you want us to hold your lute for you, so you look the part?"
