Your little hand's wrapped around my finger And it's so quiet in the world tonight
Whatever Soh had expected of Zavien's response, it was not for him to drop to his knees, hands gently bracing either side of her pregnant belly. A soft, almost satisfied smile curved upon her lips as she watched him, silently allowing him this moment with his daughter, enjoying his awestruck glee as though it were her own. He greeted the little life within her abdomen, every bit the doting father that Soh had expected him to be, and the Luminary remained quiet as further kicks and flutters responded in kind against Zavien's hands.

It was such a strange sensation for her, but she was certain that it would be almost as odd for Zavien. After all, feeling something moving inside someone else was something so unique and special that Soh was positive neither of them had ever experienced it before. When he moved to kiss her belly, Soh lifted a hand to brush gently through his tousled hair. Adoring eyes remained fixed on his face as she said, "We're so lucky to have you."

A soft clicking approached as Anani snaked her way across the floor, lifting to place her forepaws gently upon Soh's abdomen. Laughing, the Luminary stroked a hand across her stomach. "You have so many people who love you already, little love." Anani chirped a greeting of her own, prompting the baby to roll over, kicking towards the companion (and Zavien's other hand).
Your little eyelids flutter 'cause you're dreamin' So I tuck you in, turn on your favorite night light
