Alys frowned, her brow creasing at the notion of a strange light that led folk into a forced sleep. She considered this for a moment, trying to think back on if she'd seen anything related. "Hmm," she murmured, crossing her arms over her chest. "That's... concerning." Perhaps it was nothing but coincidence, but given Caido's history, she was rather less inclined to think so. Still, when the Family was in power, she'd been plagued by vague, but worrying dreams. That she'd yet to have any in recent seasons was at least somewhat reassuring. But since she didn't have anything to add, and the treeflits drew attention away from the strange happenings of Caido, Alys let it go for now. Perhaps she could ask around on her travels, see if there was anything odd that she could report back.
With Idalia suitably entertained, an affectionate smile appeared on Alys's face. Though she'd never, thus far, particularly wanted children of her own, she could still appreciate how adorable they were. "How is Halo?" she asked as the lizards flitted around them. "And the rest of the family?"
