He winces at the sound of Flora's arms smacking her sides, and Kaisel's worried expression trails from the departing dragon back to her, eyes wide with the realization of his overstep.
"Shit," he mourns, trying to get back to his feet in earnest now, but he hasn't become less of a baby dear despite his ass nearing frostbite. "I didn't mean to!" Not a worthy excuse, he knows. "Tell her I'm sorry. I can go get whatever treat she wants, right now, ri—" An uuuuugh drags out of him as the ice jerks his hand out and he slams back onto his back. "Help me up," he groans, raising a hand towards her.
