“Damn.” Sunjata hums as Melita tells him that she didn’t win, though amused as he is, he does lament not winning for her – competitive as they both were. So long as they had fun, though, that’s all Sunjata really cares about. “Oh! We did a hot chocolate stand during LongNight.” He brightens with the idea, stepping away from the flowers now to follow Melita toward the bench she picks.
And all the while he trails after her like a little gossip hen, chattering about the drama that he was in for. Sitting beside her, Sunjata shoots a smile over at his niece before it breaks into a laugh. “Yeah, it’s Vesper.” And while Sunjata didn’t have any qualms with the guy, he doesn’t know whether his mother had mentioned him or not – especially if he was intending to come and live in a region he ruled.
He supposes it’s not his problem, though, and instead he listens as she offers some tidbit of advice and he leans back against the bench, stretching out his long legs with a soft sigh. “I thought about it, but it’s all for the same goal. So maybe they’ll avoid each other completely or we’ll be in for chaos.” His nose wrinkles, but it’s clear he isn’t terribly put off by it. “I’ll let you know what happens, though.” Another pause, briefly, before he’s glancing over at his niece again. “I also made a new friend.”

Feel free to use magic/force on Sunjata, without killing him <3
Sunjata speaks with an Australian accent and has a passive magic that makes him produce a subtle scent that matches exactly to whatever those around him most desire him to smell like.
