The relatives of the children, unfortunately, are far less impressed with the shenanigans than the youths, and they shoot the two women tossing water balloons a dirty look before dragging their still-giggling offspring home to change. Aithne wiggles her fingers at them in a wave, offering a genuine smile to the departing children, who seem to be begging for just one more balloon. But alas, they are soon out of Aithne's reach, and she turns her attention back to the topic at hand.
A fanged grin is offered to Melita, who seems pleased by the praise; Aithne nudges the demigod's shoulder gently with one of her own, then returns to searching for her next target. She tosses a water balloon gently back and forth from hand to hand, almost as though playing a very damp game of roulette, and huffs softly as the balloon lands against one of her nails, popping and splashing her with a taste of her own medicine. Grumbling good-naturedly, she reaches for a new balloon.
"It sounds like fun," she says brightly, snickering at the idea of everyone being bestowed with duck costumes in the midst of danger. "Maybe next time I'm looking for a quest, I'll seek it out." If she was allowed, anyway; or was she only supposed to pray to Dygra now?
