The casual way Calan, or was it Carlo, offered that his father could simply bring people back from the dead had his eyes practically popping out of his head. The weight of responsibility bearing down on it was at times understandable, but from a seven year old’s frame of mind, he readily agreed with the twins. “Aww, that’s too bad. Maybe she’ll come for your birthday?”

When the attention turned back to his own abilities, the youth beamed, sunlit and charming – suddenly feeling like he could offer an actual contribution. “I have water magic! I’ve tried turning it into ice too,” so if they needed it…because despite Orsino’s attempts, it was clear the frost fox was growing labored. He huffed and puffed a little, and Erebos crept closer to the hole too, as if parsing his own inspection while lifting the companion out of the opening, granting him a rest. His head bounced right back up though at the thought of channeling – a delightful grin returning. “Wow. You could do so much mischief with it though,” and his mind immediately reeled into things he might do if he had said powers – probably trouncing Marcus in some fashion. “Do you have any enemies you could bother?”

Torn between the thought of interrogations and sandwiches, he was only mildly disappointed when it turned out there wasn’t any food at all – but actual sand. Still, he didn’t show it, laughing at the pun instead. “Perfect. And then we take over the headquarters?”

One thing after another came as a surprise to Erebos – who didn’t have a moving house either – but that made sense because his father was running an entire region – and he tried, with great difficulty, to not seem wholly baffled. “Ooh, to make it bigger?”
