your touch brought forth an incandescent glow, tarnished but so grand
Spice launches into her own attempt at the dizzying sequence, twisting after Sila with all the confidence of a dragon who has never once considered that the air might disagree with her. An errant gust catches beneath one wing halfway through, flaring both abruptly and knocking her out of the turn so sharply that she spirals downward instead. Flora’s breath catches despite herself, but Spice recovers before she reaches the sand, levelling into a low sweep over the beach and climbing again with a frosty little huff that sounds deeply offended by the wind rather than embarrassed by what just happened.
Flora’s relief dissolves into loud laughter at Melita’s latest invention, her grin widening as she nudges another bottle free from between two stones. "Oh my gods, I can think of several people I’d love to give a sword like that to." The bottle clatters onto the sled as her brows bounce, mischief brightening her expression. "I wonder if Ludo would ever give you some kind of gift magic like that, where you could make things for other people, but only if they always backfired or something." It seems almost aggressively suited to Melita, really, though Flora suspects the rest of Caido might prefer not to find out what the Honeybee could accomplish with an entire arsenal of maliciously enchanted gifts.
Beaming at her friend’s approval, Flora lifts her shoulders in a pleased little shrug and gathers the sled’s rope back into her hand. "Now the only thing you have to decide is whether you’re going to tell Iskra it’s a dream or not. You could totally play it off like everything’s real if you set it up properly." Her imagination runs ahead before she can stop it, already furnishing impossible landscapes and increasingly dramatic disasters for Melita to spring on him. Flora’s smile turns wicked as she glances sideways. "Then you could reveal it and make everything go completely crazy."
