His warning has to chase after her, tangling up in the sway of her hair behind her and jostled by the sharp kick of urgent heels. It lands fully once she's arrived at the top, and she grins around the sound of it with all the achievement of survival.
She strains around the bend to see him, and there Bird's shadow hurries against the wall as the Hel picks up speed on its descent, avoiding their sudden motion and lack of food. She can hear the clattering of his broom and the shuffle of his feet, but just as she hauls in a breath to shout encouragement, the surprise sail of him yanks it away with a startled laugh. Pulling one leg away just before he flops onto it, she rolls her hands down onto her kneecaps and leans over in a bent greeting, peering wide-eyed at his form, broom snug to her side beneath one arm. "That was so impressive!" she gasps, following the rise of him. "You're so clever; the gods are definitely going to appreciate that!"
Glancing around fully at the shrine now that they've made it up, Farn approaches with all the wariness of a horse seeing a bucket for the first time that it walks by daily. "I don't think they would put booty traps here, do you?" Although a fresh worry ripples through her on a frown as her broom extends, bristle side down, to sweep the area of danger. "Unless, they just want you to think that, so there really are traps. But then, maybe they knew you'd think that, so there isn't any traps. Which maybe they knew you'd think that..." The thoughta are endless, truly.
