MORGAN

They had gotten here sooner than she had expected; her people had been swift, useful and efficient and they had gathered the ingredients needed for Frey in record time. As Morgan oversaw the supplies being brought to the shrine, she felt pride in her people and Citadel, not for the first time.

Of course, things had changed since they had begun; she was unsure if Deimos would appear for this event (she had made sure the people knew when she would be giving these things to Frey, when they might expect to see their new Greenhouse), now-disgraced General as he was, though she privately hoped he might, so he could at least share in the joy of something he had worked on too.

Stepping forward to the Shrine, she bowed her head. "Frey, the people of Halo have gathered what you requested. Water from the springs, ice, rock, ash and earth, and vines. The location has been marked out-" Morgan gestured behind the shrine, where past a couple of buildings the foundation for the Greenhouse was set, cement square in the middle of houses.

"Thank you for agreeing to help us. I hope this is as you like it. Oh, and--" Knowing that Frey always liked an offering, Morgan reached behind her for the gift they had prepared; flowers from Torchline preserved and gently painted in a beautiful bouquet; this she placed on the shrine.

NOAH

When Morgan put out the information for turning in their quest to Frey, Noah was ready and waiting. He could not pass up the chance to see the god again, to see how they would react to the hard work of the Halovians. Noah was proud of his people for the work they had put in for this. The greenhouse would truly be the fruit of their labor, and it would bless and sustain the populace for generations to come. For Noah, that was exciting--so much so that it nearly vibrated his bones as he waited contiguous to Morgan, watching as she placed her offering at the base of the Shrine. Noah lowered his own head, then, offering a silent prayer to Frey before placing what he had brought for them -- beautiful fruits he had traded for in Torchline, papayas and mangos, ripe for eating.

Frey
The offerings, always appreciated, promptly spring to life as they are placed upon the shrines. The flowers, preserved and painted as they are, burst with colour and vibrance once more, plump and blooming where they lay. And a golden hand reaches for a mango, Frey simply appearing before them, cross-legged and sinking their teeth into the ripe fruit. "Mm - you always know what to bring to make me smile," they purr, peering over at the gathered... two.

"I do hope you are intending to grow enough to feed more than just the two of you." There's amusement in their tone, at least, and they gaze across the gathered ingredients, the foundations laid outside. Clapping their hands together, they rise to their feet. "How wonderful. Shall we, then?"

Without waiting for the response, Frey steps out of the shrine - and all that Morgan has brought rises along with them, trundling out into the open towards where the greenhouse will be situated.

MORGAN

This was, admittedly, not quite the turn out Morgan had been expecting. She supposed most of the people that would be looking forward to this construction, the farmers and workers of Halo, were probably out harvesting their fields and excited to see it upon completion.

The appearance of a God was always a heart-stopping moment, even for Morgan and her apathy. Head slightly bowed she followed as Frey took the things and headed towards the foundation, peeking up to see how it would all come together. "Thank you very much for your help. I assure you there are many hungry mouths this will benefit." Perhaps she ought to hire some sort of crowd to come with for the future, so the Citadel would seem more ready for the appearance of a deity.

NOAH

As Frey appeared before them, pleased with their gifts and their works, Noah smiled. He dipped his head with respect for the herald, a warmth spreading through his chest at the feeling of their pride for them -- for him. "The ones who will benefit most from this greenhouse are the ones who aren't able to make it here. There are many elderly and sickly whom are already fed with luxere and ningo -- fresh fruits and vegetables will nourish them further." To say Noah was not surprised that Morgan and himself were the only ones to come would be a lie, but he did not need anyone else here. Even if it was just for the two of them, their work still mattered. Following the herald to the place chosen, Noah stayed closer to Frey than he did Morgan. He did not ignore the woman, but he certainly kept his attention on the god before them. "Halo is better with your influence, Frey." He whispered, looking to Frey with glacier eyes.

Frey
"You know, I think so too." Frey smiles, taking another bite of fruit as they stroll out into the brisk wind and fresh snow. Waving an imperious hand, it is clear that they don't mind the small crowd, however welcome the explanations might be. And so they come to the foundation of the greenhouse, the gathered ingredients hovering behind the trio. And now it appears they have drawn some attention, because a deity wandering through one's town tends to do that.

"Alright, let's begin." Dropping the fruit and clapping their hands together, all at once the ash and earth, the rock and water rush forth, arranging themselves in tiers and rows within the foundations and pulsing with a natural energy which suggests that anything grown there will have a very fine start indeed. Next the ice and vines crawl up and all around the structure, creating walls and windows, complete with a glass roof guaranteed to let light and warmth in and trap it there.

The greenhouse creaks and groans as it settles into place, before seeming to breathe out an audible sigh, content with its new home.

"There," Frey chimes. "I believe you might grow some fine things in there, no matter where the seeds come from."

This RQ is now complete! A large, domed greenhouse now exists within the Citadel walls, allowing citizens to grow crops that would otherwise never survive in these icy climes.
