Halo had been quick and efficient; the citizens of the mountains stalwart, strong, and capable as they adhered to requests and tasks for the impending skyport. An immense sense of satisfaction and pride flickered through him, content and appeased that even in the looming fixtures of impending war, they’d salvaged portions for the future, and granted sanctity away from the touches of the Voice. A parallel means all their own.

Carrying some more offerings for Nature Frey (figuring it couldn’t hurt), he granted a swift smile for his counterpart, before kneeling along the Citadel’s shrine, placing his portions of the wares along pedestals, amidst and amongst the others. The deep rumble of his vocals echoed thereafter, reverberating in their quiet nuances. “Frey, thank you for the opportunity to improve this region. We have accomplished the tasks.” And waited for approval.

Evie

It had been a risk, taking on such a task so close to the war and so soon after their rise as Wardens. Evie had refused to let any doubts settle or invade. Persisting, pushing through, giving as much of herself as she could and having faith her fellows would do the same. And they had. They had, and because of it, not only do the walls stand stronger, but the skyport stands at last, and Evie’s entire being hums with pride.

Returning Deimos’ smile with one of her own, she lays her own offering of candied apple slices beside his. Unnecessary, perhaps, but Frey had done so much for Evie lately that she would hear nothing else. Kneeling beside her partner, she closes her eyes to join in his call, and her smile persists all the while.

Frey

"You certainly have." Frey's smile is audible as they appear, the deity slouched comfortably amongst the shrine and its offerings, though they are here for business right now, and they all know it. "Just before the war, too. Very impressive." Nodding between Deimos and Evie, the air around them already seems to pulse with power, and the supplies they have gathered will shift and dissolve, as if becoming a part of something much larger.

Which they are, of course, and although the couple will not see it here at the shrine, outside the new skyport... well. There is a very impressive sight indeed. "I believe you will need to train up some pilots." Frey smiles. "I am afraid they do not come with the vessels. But you should find the ships themselves more than adequate. Congratulations."

Halo has completed their RQ! The region now has the following attribute:

Halovian Skyships | The ships that frequent Halo's skies are reinforced to withstand the harsh climates. The sails are lined with the skin of frost giants, and the frames are blessed by Frey for both strength and flexibility against the wind and snow. This ensures that sailing is possible in any season for Halovians, even at the height of Deepfrost.

It was with a long breath and sigh of relief that Deimos permitted another earnest smile, the rigidity to his shoulders peeling away in layers – Frey’s presence, the building of power, the promise of movement and motion from Halo into the midst of other regions…enough to ensure something after the war. “Thank you.” They would likely be able to find all sorts who’d be eager pilots, taking to the skies in their own way. “Your presence here is always appreciated.” For it was Frey, time and time again, lending their power to the people of the Citadel.

And from there, with those earnest grins, they could all disperse – to see just how Halo had grown and benefitted.
