Down comes the snow, up comes the hoarfrost. All is silent but for the muted crunch of footfalls. Cold as death and colder still, the trees stand naked and dying in the Greatwood, encased in ice. No flowers peep through the earth outside the barrier, and animals are scarce here now - where once life was abundant, now it is a dark and twisted thing.

All without the Hollowed Grounds is blighted.

If not stopped, all will wither. All will die.

And then the longest night will come.

This is the Seasonal Event for 309 PC - Deepfrost! (Oh my!!) The blight has taken over the Greatwood entirely, the animals and plantlife are sick and, worst of all, many of you are infected. (You know who you are).

This Seasonal Event will last from September 1 - November 1. On completion, your character will receive +2 stats of their choice. The event has two sets of requirements, depending on whether or not you are blighted! Regardless of which requirements your character needs, it is imperative that you all read THIS THREAD FIRST: {SWE} Deliverance

By OCTOBER 31, please complete the following:

NON-BLIGHTED CHARACTERS:

• Post in {SWE} Deliverance and collect three of Vi's Roses (do not pluck them, you must have roots and all!)
  
• Complete three threads planting the roses: one must be at Mathair, one must be at the Spire and one may be in a place of your choice!
  
• Try to convince a blighted individual to prick their finger on one of Vi's Roses - you don't have to be successful.
  
• Once all of the above is complete return to the Deliverance thread (yes, post a second time) and pray to Rae.
  

BLIGHTED CHARACTERS:

Oh boy, you guys. With the turning of the season, you will quickly find your symptoms exacerbating, and you will not feel like yourselves at all. Indeed, monstrous might be the right word. (More information on this will be given separately).

Vi's Roses (rare): A beautiful crimson flower with thorns of deep gold, it is rumoured that these roses are coloured with Vi's lifeblood. When planted, they have the ability to cleanse the area around them.
