Typically favoring tight suits, Astaroth is nearly always impeccably put together. He strives to be well dressed without a single hair amiss, something that makes it easier to hide the things he does in his downtime. He stands tall, but is not built strongly to handle it. He can appear willowy, though he knows how to utilize his strengths well. His hair is long, pushed back and out of his face most of the time, but at times it has a chance of framing dark eyes.

His skin tone is a medium olive on most occasions, but there's the pink hue of blood that seems to cling regardless of how many times he washes. He pretends not to notice and indulges you to do the same.

Astaroth's horns are made of deep fire obsidian that casts an oil-like rainbow effect in the sunlight (like this). They protrude from behind his temples closer toward the top of his head and take shape of a pronged horn, similar to a mule deer's. An example of its shape is here.

Collected, for the most part. It's his utmost goal to appear calm and nonthreatening, a smile nearly always glued to his face to provide comfort and ease to others. Even if he's calculating every move that's happening, Asta always feels like there's something more that can be done. He's a smooth talker, but there's something about him that seems off and untrustworthy.

It's probably all the blood.

Despite his attempts to remain completely together at all times, there are times where this fails him. When he indulges in his Bloodlust he can almost appear frantic, greedy, and possessive. It's a feat that leaks into the day to day the closer he needs to indulge in it. He's also not the biggest fan of gore crows, and their appearance can often make him misstep.

Astaroth is old. An Ancient from the before times, who had not been born as one. Instead, as a young man growing up in a town of cannibals (a predecessor to the group that had lived in Halo once upon a time), he'd spread his wings and ventured out. Only... I'm sure you can imagine how kindly other settlements of people took to having one in their midst.

He was ousted quickly, brought to the Climb and the heat, chained and left to let the lava and hardened wildlife deal with him. Only, he'd managed to break free after some time, joined up with the Ancients, and well - as they say, the rest was history.

Until now, of course, having remained a gargoyle in the caves amongst jewels and darkness.
