He arrives in Caido as he steps across a threshold in Dorobo. He stumbles into the Labyrinth, completely confused where Lucas finds him and helps him get onto his feet.

He helps set up the Devil’s Advocates, where he meets his fellow guildmates Adam, Ezra, and Edrei. They get silver bracelets to signify their guild and their association with it. Shortly after this, he goes for a swim where he meets Phoebe. He invites her into the water to swim with him, and after some convincing, the midwife does join him. He lets her borrow his shirt, and once they return to the clinic, he goes his separate way. But she finds him the next day in order to return his shirt. After he knocks her over, he takes her back to her home in order to ensure she’s okay.

One thing leads to another, and Sunjata intends on it being a one night stand – but in the morning when he wakes up, he decides that it might be beneficial to stay with the midwife for a time. So he does, at first as a sort of friend with benefits situation. But Phoebe comes down with the blight, and at one point she faints. Her companion gets him to go to the shrine and ask Frey how to fix her, and he does. He meets the god and gets little in terms of a cure for her.

Time goes on and Sunjata helps Phoebe with her research over the blight all while not quite divulging into his past nor his ex-girlfriend. During this time he takes a trip to the Greatwood and stumbles across Melita, finding out that she’s the daughter of Graasvoel. He takes her under his wing as an adopted niece of a sort, teaches her Korofi and some Dorobo, and intends to tell her all about her father.

The blight gets worse in Phoebe, and he meets her for a surprise picnic where he meets Phoebe’s sister-in-law. Once the sister-in-law leaves, Phoebe acts out with a mood swing from the blight and Sunjata sort of shuts down from her accusations. He ensures she gets home safe and then he trains in the shed that Phoebe has to try and get his mind clear and take out some of his frustration.

The Festival of Lights arrives, and Sunjata makes a lantern for Lusea. It’s the first time he opens up to Phoebe about her.

Shortly after the Festival, Phoebe finds a newly resurrected Lusea at the Spire. She brings her back to the clinic, where Sunjata sees her for the first time since her death. He nearly ignores Phoebe with the sudden realization that his flame has returned, and Phoebe leaves the two alone to get reacquainted. Phoebe and Sunjata break up.

He goes to try and apologize to Phoebe for what happened, to tell her that he does care about her too but Lusea had always been his first love. She doesn’t seem to care, and so he leaves. He spends the next few weeks working with Loren and helping hunt for food for the upcoming LongNight. He officially meets Loren at the Rathskeller bar shortly after and the two get acquainted.

Deepfrost begins and the blight gets worse and he goes to get roses from Vi and the shrine to plant them in the hopes of curing it. He plants one with Ashetta at the Mathair. Then he goes to plant one at Phoebe’s clinic, where she attacks him and leaves him with a bite scar on his shoulder. He takes her to Remi after that in the hopes that he might be able to deal with her.

He meets Hotaru next, and the two of them flirt harmlessly with one another. Sunjata begins to notice he’s starting to get the blight as well. And he meets Jigano at the Bone Bridge while Sunjata’s in the middle of a bit of a mental break.

He goes back to see Phoebe at the prison where Remi had left her. The blight is being cured, but Sunjata notices he’s getting worse. He ends up letting her out of the prison and takes her home. He lets her get cleaned up while he gets pretty drunk, and when she returns and they argue, he has a panic attack that Phoebe treats him for. Then, under the influence of all of these, he chooses to sleep with Phoebe that night.

Unable to keep it a secret, he tells Lusea. She finds out she has magic during this time, and he begins his attempts at atoning for what he’s done. During this time, Lucas dies and Adam takes over the Devil’s Advocates. After this, he meets Remi once more and Oliver for the first time as the latter arrives in Caido.

He meets Lily after, who’s singing to Luxere’s to try and get them to come near. His presence keeps them wary and so he leaves. But, inspired from conversation with Remi and Oliver a few days before, Sunjata goes to the shrine to ask any of the gods to become Attuned. Safrin answers, kisses him, and turns him into a hyacinth macaw. Immediately after this, he goes to Remi to learn how to fly.

He meets Oliver after to tell him about how he’d become Attuned, and the two of them eventually go visit a shrine and nobody comes to them. After this, he trains with Melita using his bird form. Then, he reads up on LongNight in the Atheneum, where Phoebe arrives and tells him of their miscarriage that she’d learned about from Frey.

LongNight begins and Sunjata refuses to open the door for one of the tricks. Lusea and him have a long heart to heart about life here and life back home. After this, he gets drunk with Oliver and they talk about their lives and experiences. Then, a LongNight monster opens the door to the Rathskeller by using the body of Cera. Sunjata grabs the body and tosses it out the door, while him and Loren and Lusea close it and try to protect the rest. He meets Wessex for the first time here. Loren ends up burning down the Rathskeller. Once everyone’s safe, Sunjata, Lusea, and Loren partake in a threesome.

He meets James soon after, then meets up with Phoebe once more by accident as he tries to grab some bandages to restock the front of the Temple. Then, Sunjata gets very drunk and decides it’s a good idea to go outside and check on the Luxere herds. Loren finds him and gets him back inside, the two have a sort of heart to heart. Then, Sunjata can hear Remi calling for him and he lets the Monster Hunter’s Guild group in after the other building burned down. He reconnects with Melita here, ensuring she’s okay.

Flowerbirth begins where Sunjata meets up with Melita as he removes an egg from the memory mud. The egg hatches into a griffin, who bites him immediately. He names her Haai.

Lusea, Melita, and Loren all help Sunjata put together the new bar, the VlamVloed (Fire and Flood). After this, he works to clean up the streets from LongNight where he meets Kaimana. During this time Lusea goes missing and he puts a notice on the Notice Board to look for her. He never finds her. In his despair, he has a heart to heart with Peter. Sometime during this, Adam gives Sunjata the Devil’s Advocates.

Then, he helps Deimos and Jigano work with Hotaru to build her shop. After this he meets and flirts with Lily for a bit. Then, when he can’t take it anymore, he goes to meet Delphia, to ask if Lusea is still out there or if she’s died. Delphia informs him that Lusea went to Halo and was killed. Heartbroken, Sunjata hides in the Woodland for a bit in his panther form where Loren finds him.

Phoebe comes to visit him and he informs her the news as well. The same goes for Oliver. And in an effort to keep his mind off of it, he helps Deimos, Jigano, and Oliver put together the training grounds for the Militia. He meets Deimos soon after and joins the Militia as well. Then, Hotaru comes to him to ask about his Guild. She ends up joining, and in his loneliness the two of them sleep with one another as the start of a friend with benefits situation.

He holds an Advocates meeting to tell them to recruit, seeing as Ezra and Lusea have both died. Then he meets Melita after to finish up the bar and add a section for lanterns where he puts the lantern for Lusea as well as one up for Melita’s sister. He tries to get better, get out of his mood, but he’s spent a majority of the time drinking a lot. There’s a gift giving event that he takes part in and gets Lily who wants a coat.

He hunts a wolf to make the coat for her, meeting Wessex officially along the way. He finds Ianto’s wagon where he gets away with the sword Flametongue. He meets Tarasha after this, his first Fae. In this time, he opens the VlamVloed. Then, he takes a short trip to Halo where he comes across a genie and he gets granted a wish.

He meets Ingrid at the bar and sleeps with her as well. Later, he invites Adam over to the Advocates headquarters to pierce his ears. Soon after, he meets Oliver once more by accidently trying to eat him in his panther form, not knowing that Oliver had Attuned. He meets back up with Loren as well, the two of them traveling to the Greatwood to explore.

Amun is who he meets next. Then it’s Fiat Lux. It starts off well, he takes a flower crown from Phoebe, dances with her and then dances with Melita after. He also takes part in Spin the Bottle. But then all hell breaks loose and Phoebe catches his attention toward the mud monster that’s approaching. He dives into the fight, before getting sucked up by the monster. He shifts into a surprise orca form and tries to fight the monster from within. He nearly suffocates at the start of it.

They are unsuccessful in fully protecting the Festival, and many die due to the creature getting there. Sunjata finds Melita hurt and goes to help her as well as helping Kaimana and Oia.

Soon after Fiat Lux, Sunjata visits the Medical College where Nate bites him and tells him he’s got acute respiratory distress syndrome. He can’t drink or smoke anymore until he’s healed.

Sick and mostly out of his mind, he goes to see how Phoebe’s coping with the loss of her nephews. He offers to do anything to help her, and she tries to call his bluff by asking him to marry her. He tries to call her own by agreeing. Both upset and surprised by this, he goes to Deimos to have the rings made, and once they are – the wedding takes place with a deadline of three days.

Between then and the wedding, Sunjata gets yelled at by Loren. Oliver comes to visit him. And Lily stops by as well. The Spite Wedding begins, and it seems as though it won’t go on. Phoebe doesn’t want to be there, and neither does Sunjata. But Frey arrives and the wedding continues – Frey enchants their rings, and creates a honeymoon bed for them behind the altar.

He meets Weaver, eventually decides to invite her into the Devil's Advocates. Likewise, he meets Maea soon after and offers her a place to stay within the VlamVloed. He takes a trip to Halo and stumbles upon Safrin with Melita and a few others, before also inviting Wessex into the Devil's Advocates, promising himself to helping her Ascended cause and help with finding portals.

He meets Maea again, this time in the Stonesong. He flirts with her, despite being married, and they kiss. He goes to Halo with Phoebe soon after, doesn't tell her anything, but finds out that their wedding rings are enchanted. He returns and argues with Maea over not breaking it off with Phoebe, he also ends up getting Hotaru an apology gift.

He meets Nate soon after, stumbling across one another as Sunjata walks through the Underground. They end up talking of Sunjata's condition, of how Sunjata had gotten married, of how he wasn't following Nate's doctor's orders, but offers to check his blood anyway. They end up cheating on both their partners. Phoebe ends up trashing the VlamVloed before she and Sunjata break up.

He's still quite ill when he goes and speaks with Safrin about the destroyed Temple and the shrine within. She heals him, gives him a quest to fix the Temple and the shrine. He starts to prepare. Sunjata invites Nate a home within the Advocates and the VlamVloed as well. Nate accepts, and they end up becoming friends with benefits.

Sunjata takes a quick trip to Torchline and meets Ronin for the first time, as well as a quick little catch up with Remi. Upon his return, however, he tries to convince Jigano to allow Maea to go to Halo and enter Zariah's school, offering her protection from those within the Advocates that he has contacts with.

Maea tells Sunjata she loves him, he distances himself from her. That doesn't stop her from helping him with rebuilding the Temple, however. Sunjata, Maea, Quanil, Libbs, and Ronin all work together to fix the Temple before Sunjata departs to Halo to attempt to gather the materials provided to fix the shrine.

It's a disaster, however, inviting Safrin's Attuned (Peter, Adam, Amalia, and Deimos) to join him in the hunt for a white dragon. They end up crossing a cannibal that Sunjata kills, before reaching the dragon. In a terrible turn of events, the dragon kills Adam and Peter and their companions. Deimos helps Sunjata collect Coffee's body to bring back and use for the shrine.

Safrin rewards Sunjata with his bat shift, before Sunjata continues to spiral about losing his guildmates and friends. He goes to Torchline where he and Nate find some Ascended tech. He's also in Torchline still, when he and Loren get into a fight. Loren summons a dragon and fucks him up.

He meets Neron in the VlamVloed, helps the Warden out and receives a reward in response. A reward that Sunjata uses to give Weaver the okay to build the Kraai which is an extension of the Devil's Advocates and the VlamVloed. In the same week, Sunjata offers his help to Deimos to help prepare ahead of time for leafchange and deepfrost, when Deimos attacks him and he flees.

Sunjata, with the help of Maea, Nate, Melita, Ronin, and Remi, build the Slagveld boxing ring in Torchline. The Longheat festival takes place and Sunjata agrees to giving Maea a chance with dating. They start with building a home in Torchline together up on the cliffs of Aumakua.

Maea and Sunjata venture out into the ocean where they get attacked by sharks. Sunjata gets severely injured and it takes some time and healing to get him back to normal, though he does still have all the scars from it along his back and legs.

Leafchange begins with a blossoming friendship between Ronin and Sunjata. They become sparring partners and begin to start spending more time around one another.

Maea and Sunjata break up after an argument of Sunjata knowing that Maea wants him to be faithful and Sunjata knowing that he won't be. They meet up a bit later, however, during a game of hide and seek that has Ludo within the game. They go back to the house and don't agree to start dating again, mainly because Sunjata's life in Torchline and Maea's life in Halo.

In Halo, Sunjata helps Weaver put together the Kraai as an extension of the Devil's Advocates. During this time, Maea perishes in a disasterus ghostwhale hunt, leaving notes behind with Delphia for everyone close to her except for Sunjata. He goes to find out, meeting up with Delphia who tells him that she'll only tell him Maea's last words if he quests with her to forget Lusea.

Upon his return to Torchline, Apopo blows up and lava threatens to destroy Haulani and much of the rest of the region. Jigano, Remi, Saiden, Nate, and Sunjata all work together to save Haulani. Of course, the danger of this despite becoming heroes, paired with Maea's death and Sunjata's crisis of losing his friends, Maea, as well as the possibility of needing to forget Lusea have him spiraling hard. Nate takes him home, promises he won't leave, and confesses his feelings for him. Sunjata tries to push him away, but Nate doesn't go anywhere. They tentatively start dating.

He meets up with Safrin in his quiet crisis, promises to become something for her. She sets him on a quest. Later, Sunjata meets Ronin with Seren, Safrin and Ronin's daughter, that comes with a warning to be wary of Safrin after he had already promised to do anything for the goddess. Despite all that, Sunjata offers the abandoned buildings beside his home for Remi and Ronin to raise Seren.

After the volcano erupted, it ended up destroying the prior Governor's home. They need to decide on a new governor, a task that only Remi and Sunjata step up for to face off with. Remi eventually wins, then asks Sunjata to become his Arbiter. Sunjata agrees and gets to work. He helps build an extension of Remi's home with the rest of the governor's cabinet.

Jigano and Sunjata meet. Jigano is upset with how fast Sunjata has moved on, he turns into a dragon and paralyzes Sunjata from fleeing. This causes him to spiral again with flashbacks of Halo's dragon.

Later, Sunjata recovers enough and helps Nate set up his clinic in Haulani. After that, he and Melita, Raza, and Loren venture into the changed tunnels of Rae's Fingers to explore what had changed and what lingers within. They find something alive down there, but don't investigate further.

Sunjata strikes a deal with Jack and the Ark to turn a blind eye to the smuggling. Weaver hosts a surprise birthday party for Sunjata, inviting all of his friends, as one of Maea's last wishes. Then, the Festival of Lights is held in Torchline, soon after Sunjata and Nate invite Hotaru to join into their relationship. She accepts.

Sunjata expands the Slagveld to host the headquarters of the Devil's Advocates. He and Nate spend much time pulling things from the Grounds to bring back to the new headquarters.

He attends the beginning of a regional quest between Torchline and Safrin, held by Remi. He and Nate work together to accomplish the tasks with other Torchers. Later, he meets Vervain when she accidentally shoots him in the neck with an arrow. He recovers with her magic and Nate's help, however, the good mood doesn't last long.

Nate gets attacked by a Fae in Haulani. Sunjata vows to find out who did it. This causes him to accidentally break his truce with Jack and the Ark, when he accidentally slashes Zeph's face in teh attempt to break up a fight using the daggers Safrin had gifted him. Jack doesn't appreciate this, and shows up with a few cronies that kick his ass and tell him that he'll be replacing Jack in helping drive out the creature that lives in the Fingers, during LongNight.

Sunjata and Nate argue over this, before they manage to smooth things out. Somewhere within this, Sunjata and Nate spar to try and up their strength before they go out to fight the creature. Perhaps it's with the impending doom, but Sunjata and Nate agree to get married.

They manage to succeed in driving out the lava octopus, but not before Sunjata gets horribly injured by it. The Ark crew departs through a shortcut, claiming to help Sunjata, Nate, and Melita get out quickly by giving them the long path around. This causes a rift between Sunjata and Nate and the rest of the Ark crew.

Sunjata and Nate invite Hotaru to their wedding to become both their wife. She agrees, before she disappears. During this time, Sunjata turns in his quest with Safrin to get his daggers magical. He finds out from Safrin that the woman that had attacked Nate in Haulani was Fae.

Sunjata, Deimos, and Amalia slowly begin to make amends for the horrible event that took place in Halo. He ventures to the cold tundra to check in on the Kraai after hearing of Weaver's death, only to find Neron running the Kraai. He becomes incredibly upset about the idea of the Advocates gathering information in Halo under Neron's nose. Sunjata strikes a deal with him to keep the hybrid from kicking his ass.

On his trip back to Torchline, he stumbles across a Sea Panther that he, Deimos, Raza, and Zeph fight off. It goes well for the most part, until Sunjata calls encantados to arrive and call down a storm, asking Deimos to craft a lightning rod to throw at the sea panther. Miscommunication occurs when Deimos hands Sunjata the lightning rod as he calls down the storm and Sunjata ends up electrocuting himself. He nearly dies in the process, but Zephyr brings him back to the Clinic where Vai heals him just enough to keep him alive and well enough to return home.

Sunjata begins to notice memory issues, but he chalks it up to the lightning strike as he tries to gather information about the Order which has begun to spread out around Torchline and other areas, searching for information or people. This leads him to speaking with Phoebe in yet another argument. He tries to apologize to her, she doesn't accept.

Longheat begins with Sunjata seeking out Safrin. She keeps her distance under claims that something is wrong with him. He ends up making her believe that Ludo possibly had something to do with it. He ends up getting sicker and sicker as the days go on. He begins to forget mostly everything that occurred during the sickness, except for bits and pieces here and there.

He mistakes Melita for her father, he mistakes Vervain for his mother. He and Remi fight one another in a sick induced hallucination. Sunjata and Nate end up accidentally burning their house down. They save what they can and move into the Slagveld and the Advocates in the meantime.

Nate gets lost in a trip taken to Halo, leaving Sunjata in his panic and illness induced mind to think that Nate may have perished in the time the house burned down. Melita ends up finding the Ascended and brings him home. He and Nate get married in private soon after.

A temporary cure is brought back to Torchline from the Climb from Remi and Ronin. It works on Sunjata but doesn't work for the Ascended. So Sunjata begins to try and help come up with a cure for the Ascended to help fix Nate. They go to the Climb to the Obsidian Cathedral and Frey's Breath in search of anything that could help. They gather some water from Frey's Breath to bring back to the Voice to see if she could change it to work for the Ascended.

The Voice tells Nate and Sunjata that Loren has the item she needs to create a true cure for everyone. They go and plead with Loren to hand the cure over. Loren refuses. During this time, Remi steps down ass governor and names Sunjata governor in his place. Sunjata and Nate return to Torchline briefly before Loren hands the Voice the metal from the Climb to create the cure. Sunjata takes the Voice's cure but still offers his help to find a cure with the old gods as well.

Sunjata meets Aurelia and tries to help her acclimate to becoming an Outlander in this world and finding a purpose. Soon after, Sunjata meets Remi and Ronin's son Mateo, before Ronin and Remi leave Torchline to live a quiet life in their wagon in the Greatwood. Later, Sunjata accompanies the Ark to explore the storms in the hopes of repairing the relationship between himself and Jack and his crew.

In official business, Sunjata meets Halo's new Warden, Morgan, as well as Juniper to discuss the Ascended and Fae's relationship and how that translates to Torchline and the Greatwood. Juniper agrees to help Sunjata find who attacked Nate and bring her to justice.

Leafchange starts with Sunjata having visions of his father that put him on edge. This leads him to stumbling across Arsen and revealing his dragon shift as he pushes the troublemaker out of Torchline. In good news, however, Nate and Sunjata take a late honeymoon trip to the Grounds to the Ascended room.

Nate stays behind to talk LongNight plans with the rest of the Ascended. Sunjata returns to Torchline and his visions start to get worse. He spends most days drinking himself to sleep and doing anything he can to not think about it or put stock in it. Wessex informs him of the Order's plans which only add to his fears and worries, making things worse overall. But he attempts to distract himself by work, helping the Merfolk explore the storms as well.

He meets wiht Safrin soon after and asks for a regional quest to help protect Torchline against Flowerbirth's monsoon season. They begin to work with much of Torchline to start to accomplish this task. Sunjata meets with Jack during his crisising, they end up sleeping together after Ark offers to help keep an eye out for Sunjata's father.

Nate returns and Sunjata's visions have gotten worse. But he's calmed by his husband's presence, and he speaks with Jack about official business when it comes to the Ark and how Sunjata intends on changing the beachscape to suit the regional quest from Safrin. They begin to build groynes with many from Torchline, this is where he meets Ray.

He seeks out Vervain in the hopes of getting something to help him sleep. She prescribes him sleeping medicine that during the time where he tries to catch some sleep, the medicine gets switched out for something else by an unknown figure. The visions begin to get worse as Sunjata and Nate spar and Sunjata becomes distracted by one of those visions, leading to Nate accidentally dislocating his jaw with a punch.

Things continue to go south as Sunjata's visions grow worse. But he discovers his pegasus shift with Aurelia in the Wilds after they stumble across a water/mist horse. Nate and Sunjata venture to Halo for the Festival of Lights, bruised and upset. But something changes with it, the Voice bringing back many of those that had died. Adam and Peter come back to life, as well as Maea. He offers them all a place in Torchline.

Deepfrost starts off terrible. The visions he had seen of his father had mostly been real, when he gets lost in the Wilds and stumbles across Shaju. His father ends up breaking his dragon wing when Sunjata attempts to fight back.

Nate binds the wing, but Sunjata keeps the encounter with his father a secret, claiming he'd broken it while tangled up in the jungle vines. He and Nate end up meeting Maea soon after to speak of expectations. It doesn't go well and Sunjata ends up departing after receiving Maea's last words, finally.

They host a belated wedding reception, inviting all of Torchline. Shaju shows and puts Sunjata on edge, but there isn't anything he can do about it and so he tries to pretend that everything is fine.

Shaju ends up leaving a gift for Sunjata in the Slagveld - a gift of Arsen's body nailed to the wall by his wings with a note telling him to clean it up. Declan shows and helps him take care of the body, before Sunjata leaves and comes across Melita. He spirals and refuses to tell her who had left the body, unable to find a way to prove it and doesn't want to sound crazy.

He begins to accompany Nate to the Grounds to help the Ascended with their LongNight prep. He offers his shifts for the Ascended to use during the week of darkness. Aamu and Neron take him up on it. During this time, however, Sunjata also seeks Isla out for a second opinion on his sleeping meds. It turns out Sunjata has been drugging himself with a highly powerful psychodelic drug which has only induced more visions and Sunjata's inability to sleep. She gives him true sleeping meds, with the instruction to have Nate look after it.
