Appearance
Caiside is a slim, short man with sharp features and an intentionally striking appearance, though he has lost some of the glamour he previously had. He has long, copper coloured hair pulled into a series of intricate braids, and golden eyes with red makeup on his lower lids.. His fingers and wrists are adorned in delicate looking golden filigree jewellery that matches the golden accents on his clothing. On his forehead there are two matching scars, the only evidence of the horns that once adorned his head.
Personality
Caiside enjoys being in the middle of things, and will often intentionally put himself there. He doesn't like being in control of things or in the limelight, but he works hard to be in a position where he can influence many things. At first glance, he appears to be vain and self serving, but after he feels comfortable with someone, his more inquisitive and friendly side becomes clear.
History
Caiside was the bastard child of a human woman and a minor nature god, though he was unaware of his roots growing up, thinking his mothers husband to be his true father. He worked hard to try to earn the mans approval, going so far as to apprentice in his forge, despite the danger and his fairly weak stature. Nothing he ever did was good enough for the man though, and despite his best efforts, he was exiled from his home as soon as he turned of age.

Caiside spent a handful of years alone, moving constantly and only staying in one place long enough to resupply before moving again. It was during this time that he met a man named Reithdur, the son of a warlord who sought to overthrow his father and conquer the world. He invited Caiside along with him, seeing the potential he had, and the power that could be used. Reithdur styled himself as Caiside's rescuer, and gave him power and wealth as his own power incresed, eventually entrusting Caiside to be his second in command and adviser. These actions led to Caisides awakening, but instead of the unwavering loyalty Reithdur had expected, Caiside saw how he had been manipulated, and one of his first acts as a newly awoken demigod was to destroy the man who had been taking advantage of him.

Since then, he has roamed the country, accumulating magical power and followers until the day he came across a strange portal. Curiosity led him through it, severing his bond with his divine heritage and stranding him in a strange new world.
