Appearance
A man of means, dripping confidence like blood from fingertips. Relaxed, confident and yet shamefully quick to anger. Lucas Copperhead walks as if the world should pay him for the privilege - and it does, usually.

Tension and discomfort seem out of place on him, his face youthful and handsome, all high cheekbones and laughing green eyes. With a tousled mop of fair hair that refuses to fall tidily, he seems perpetually just out of bed, though he is anything but slow off the mark.

His complexion is frightfully pale, unblemished but for the designer stubble and a lashing of silver scars which mark his shoulder blades. Sometimes boyish and other times as old and tired as time, Lucas is like a box of chocolates - bad for you if you have too much.

Personality
Control is paramount to Lucas's empire of lies. He has evolved - or at least he likes to tell himself as much - beyond the rages of his youth. Beyond tantrums, beyond rampages, beyond laying realms to waste. He can rule himself now, and he does so with pride and flair.

He's wrong about it, but he tries.

To strangers he puts on the façade of the suave and charming gentleman, polite and debonair, as if acting for an audience. He has his quirks, but beneath the eccentricities he is manipulative, cunning, and coldly intelligent. Take Lucas for a fool and play right into his hands.

His temper is his downfall. Explosive to say the least, he becomes as much a victim of himself as those he lashes out at. Lucas is helplessly destructive by his very nature, even when he doesn't want to be, and those who know him well (and daresay even get close to him) see this in his grouchiness and sarcasm. He can be notoriously difficult to be around, and even with those he likes, he can never seem to be sure if he wants them around or not.

Very much a lover of routine and more than used to getting what he wants precisely when he wants it, Lucas takes abrupt change about as well as a cat thrown in ice water. Speaking of which, he can be pretty catlike when he wants to be (mostly on the lazy and petty front) - but rest assured his claws are as sharp as any beast. They just so happen to be on his tongue instead of his fingertips.

History
He's been around for a long, long year, and has sported more names than he can remember: the dragon, the accuser, the Prince of Darkness, the Father of Lies, Lucifer, light-bringer...

In the days leading up to his... transition into Caido he was Lucas Copperhead, CEO of Copperhead, Inc.; a ruthless businessman with one foot in the supernatural and the other in cold, hard cash.

None of that matters now, though. However many worlds there were and however many devils there might have been, Lucas is here now. And he certainly isn't a fallen angel any longer. Having been walking home after a particularly heavy night, he'd tripped and fallen... only to awaken on the ashy ground before the Spire with a raging hangover and a thousand venomous curses on his tongue.

Things have actually gone downhill from there.
