Sah custom magic ideas:

A stack to lightning to increase its range 

A pocket dimension thing that allows all of his items/belongs to come along with a shift (just like how clothes reappear) 

The creation add-on that Deimos has that lets him create more magical items each season.
A magic that makes the outline of enemies (even invisible or concealed ones) glow for a set number of rounds. Maybe it makes allies glow too but a different color. 
An add-on to mage armor to make it last more rounds. 

Darkness magic? Able to manipulate shadows/ solidify them as weapons?

Temperature control? Can manipulate the temperature around him
(Combine with air/water to make blizzards and such?)
Sleep? Can force a creature to fall asleep or become heavily lethargic/slow
Nightmare? Can force a being to feel terror and maybe have disadvantage or be stunned?

Passive fire/heat resistance?
Passive lightning resistance? 
Telepathy?
Passive resistance to telepathy? 

Impossible thing: Immortality! A fuck tone of stats.

For demigod time:
Fancy Dygra black fire b/c cliche but still worth it.
Night vision as a passive?
Blood that is abnormally hot/can start fires as a passive?
Definitely, some variation of Hearthstone so he can teleport places.

Fire armor? Able to coat himself in fire for a set period of time to both protect him and cause burn damage if an attack lands on him.

Possible magic: Gravity magic on his hands that lets him punch harder.
Possible magic: Teleports by bursting into stardust.
Possible magic: AOE on enemies, heals himself.
