Noah approached the shrine with Deimos at his side, his arms full with the leather satchel that held his offering for the herald they sought. Kneeling before the shrine, Noah looked around for a moment, remembering how the luxere-headed woman spirit had spoken to him years ago instead of Frey. Then, gathering his thoughts, Noah placed each of the offerings out before him carefully, praying along the way to Frey. "Frey, we come to you to continue the work of protecting our people." He placed the beautiful, dried and preserved fruits from Torchline first (hopefully Cordelia wouldn't mind them missing from the cupboard). He then placed the swirled mixture of two sands from the desert he gathered while visiting and watering the deity there. "According to our citizens, you had given aid to them and guidance to build an offensive weapon upon the Citadel wall." He then placed his last offering, two pristine white hare furs. "Please see us."

The Sword dutifully followed, approaching the Citadel shrine with his own offering for the Nature aspect of Frey; the basket laden with fruits from Torchline marketplaces, cream, and sugar, kneeling and nestling it in amongst Noah’s, along with Oerwoud vegetation and gore crow feathers from his most recent hunt. “Thank you for all of your assistance in the past,” he allowed the addition to slip from his mouth, though Noah’s words were likely enough to measure anything and everything. And hopefully the future – considering the implications laden out before them.

Then he slid back, waiting, mulling, pondering, over the changes, the utterances, the necessities to ensure Halo was protected once more.

Frey

"And here I thought you'd have forgotten about little old me," Frey almost purrs as they bloom - literally - into view, sighing a breath into the dried fruits that cause them to become plump and dewy once again. Plucking up a peach to sink their teeth into it, they sink down to sit cross-legged before the two very muscly, very important looking men.

"Okay," they say with a smile, juice running down their chin. "But if you get another new Warden in the meantime, you'll only have to start from the very tippy top again, you know." Nonetheless, the request is granted. Off you pop, lovelies.

Tasks. There is no time limit. There are currently 13 active Halovians. This means 6 unique characters have to participate. Characters can participate more than once. Deimos must participate in at least 1 thread. Noah must participate in 2.

1. A thread of 3 Halovians scouting the city walls to find the sunniest spot.
1. A PQ of at least 3 Halovians building a pillar atop the city walls where the sun hits best. (At least 4 rounds).
2. A Mini-Event to discuss and decide the triggering/aiming mechanism for the beam.
3. Three threads: one crafting four panes of glass (or trading for them); one creating a frame for the glass panes; one placing the glass into the frames and setting it atop the pillar.
