FLOWERBIRTH
The longest night ends, once again heralding the return of the sun, of light and life and sweet rebirth.
Ah, alas. If only that were truly the case this year.
There are, of course, seedlings and delicate new leaves and mornings filled with dew-bright sunshine - all the usual marks of Flowerbirth as it blossoms across the land.
But there is, too, something else. A noticeable taint on an otherwise vivacious new season.
Or at least, it will certainly seem that way anyway, unless you happen to be a Friend of the Family.
The void is flourishing as beautifully as all of Caido's other flora and fauna, and it shows no sign of stopping any time soon. Where there are sun-dappled flowers, there are violet blooms leeching their nutrients. Where birdsong permeates the air, it comes accompanied by a warbling, discordant harmony.
Things are definitely starting to look purple out there.
Welcome to Flowerbirth 318 PC! If you're interested in the weather for your region during this time, please visit our SEASONS page!
This event will run from July 5th to August 31st. All requirements must be met to complete the event. Multiple characters can participate, but the threads do not carry across! (I.E. Both characters must complete all threads to gain +2 stats each).
Please include {SE} somewhere in your thread title. Once all requirements are met, post them here with your OOC account, linking the necessary threads and where you'd like your +2 stats to be allocated! Threads must be archived before the end of the season in order to be accepted.
1. Learn about something related to the spread of the Void/The Plot or tell someone about it.
2. Assist in helping to stop the spread (helping out in RQ threads, killing void flora/fauna, etc), OR help spread it.
3. Complete a thread cleaning up after LongNight in your region (or a region of your choice, if you are nomadic).
4. Attend the Flowerbirth SWE! It will run throughout the season so there is no risk of running into anyone you don't like... unless that's your thing, I guess.
5. Collect a seed from the SWE and plant it near an infected board (i.e., a board adjacent to one that's infected).
